Marlon Hoffstadt has announced a new album, ‘Das Ist Daddy’, set for release next month.
Featuring eight tracks, the record is described as “a love letter to his community”, and features contributions from Rose Gray, Niko Rubio, TAET, and Alex Chapman.
‘Das Ist Daddy’ is led by the new single ‘Party People’, which samples Marshall Jefferson’s 1986 house classic ‘Move Your Body’. Watch a video for the track below.
Hoffstadt, AKA DJ Daddy Trance teased the album title — which translates to ‘That Is Daddy’ in English — during his debut set at Coachella in April, when it appeared on the Sahara Stage screens behind the DJ booth. You can watch the full set here.
