Akai Professional announces MPC Live III Retro

Akai Professional has unveiled a new MPC unit, the Live III Retro.

Inspired by Akai’s classic late ’80s MPCs, the vintage-looking MPC Live III Retro is stacked with modern features, including the new MPCe™ pads made with 3D-sensing technology that allow for more subtle manipulation.

At its core, the new MPC comes fitted with a next-generation Gen 2 eight-core processor and a 16-step sequencer, all wrapped up in a retro-styled Akai colourway with a seven-inch multi-touch colour display and four touch-capacitive knobs. It also has a built‑in battery, speakers and mic.
