    Fuse Brussels forced to close indefinitely following noise complaints

    Well-known club space Fuse in the Belgian capital of Brussels has been forced to close its doors for the foreseeable future following a specific set of demands from the Brussels Regional Administration. 

    The venue states that it has been ordered to play music at “a maximum of 95db and to close its doors at 02:00,” adding: “It is impossible to open a club under these circumstances.”

    The club claims that the regional authority imposed the demands following “complaints from a neighbour who bought an adjacent house some years ago.” 

    After a significant effort to isolate the amount of sound coming from the venue and a compromise that has been “intensively worked on,” it appears to have all been for nothing.
