    Church on The Chemical Brother’s 1998 album cover granted protected status

    The church on the cover of The Chemical Brothers’ 1998 album ‘Brothers Gonna Work It Out’ has been given protected status.

    The Our Lady of Fatima church in Harlow, Essex, was granted a Grade II* listing by the government on the advice of Historic England to protect both its historic and architectural significance, as reported by the Guardian.

    The modernist building, which adorns the front of the Chems’ 1998 compilation, is notable for its reinforced concrete and tall needle spire.
